The first hearing in Viswanathan v. Stanford, a defamation case filed with the San Mateo Superior Court, was held on February 19, 2010. The plaintiff in the case, Usha Viswanathan, is a graduate of Stanford University Law School who has experienced ongoing defamation and retaliation from a law school professor and/or his Stanford associates.
